The symbiosis between
Soil and Skin

Two ecosystems,
a common balance.

arth and skin share a layered structure, with each layer fulfilling a function essential to the balance of the whole. On the surface, the organic layer, like the epidermis, acts as a protective barrier, harboring a rich microbiome and facilitating exchanges with the outside world. Underneath, the mineral layer, similar to the dermis, provides support, nutrition and toxin elimination, while regulating temperature. Finally, the subsoil, mirroring the hypodermis, constitutes an energy reserve essential for regeneration.

A founding bond

This parallel is at the heart of the Dix Hectares philosophy: it underlines the interdependence between earth and skin, and reminds us of the importance of preserving them with care, attention and respect.

A BIOCYCLICAL
approach

By adapting to seasonal needs,
Dix Hectares formulas restore
skin's natural harmony

he Nature is balanced by seasons, punctuated by solstises and equinoxes. In phase with these natural cycles, skin is no exception. It mobilizes its internal resources to adapt to external changes. However, over time and under the effect of factors such as air pollution, UV rays, climatic variations or an intense lifestyle, this capacity to adapt gradually weakens. The epidermis then becomes more vulnerable, less reactive, and loses vitality in the face of aggressions.

An adapted response

The biocyclical approach advocated by Dix Hectares offers a tailored response to the needs of skin cells, based on a dual dynamic: both an in-depth action on long cycles (annual) and a targeted surface action on short cycles (seasonal). This holistic approach allows skin to regain its natural balance and harmony.

Uncompromising
formulation

Science at the service of
Agricultural wisdom

ach one of our formulas follows the long process of harvesting our land. Each plant is carefully cultivated on the Montrose Farm parcel, according to the principles of regenerative agriculture. These essences are harvested when perfectly ripe, then transformed into active extracts using an ecological ultrasonic extraction process based on natural solvents, to exploit all the plant's parts and maximize its potential efficacy.

They are then subjected to proteomic analysis to assess their impact on proteins involved in key functions such as hydration, cell regeneration and skin protection. In the Dix Hectares laboratory, just a stone's throw from the plot, these active ingredients are combined with probiotics and peptides to create highly concentrated formulas designed to meet the skin's seasonal needs.

A respectful process

This process respects a natural balance: by enhancing the active principles of plants, it also contributes to the health of the soil through virtuous agricultural practices. In this way, the care delivered to the earth is reflected in the benefits given to the skin, where every gesture reflects an approach in symbiosis with nature.
